Amy was raised in McCall and is a 2001 graduate of MDHS. After attending the University of Idaho and earning a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, Amy received her law degree from Seattle University School of Law. Amy started her legal career as a staff attorney for the Honorable Thomas J. Ryan in the Third Judicial District working on both civil and felony criminal cases. After her judicial clerkship, Amy entered private civil practice working for several years at respected law firms in Boise before returning to McCall to join Millemann, Pittenger & Pemberton in 2016.
Amy’s practice focuses on civil litigation including representing diverse clients on both sides of a lawsuit. Amy has experience in complex tort litigation, personal injury, product liability, labor and employment law, medical and professional malpractice, real estate, criminal law, and family law matters. Amy practices in both state and federal court and before administrative agencies.
Amy has been recognized by the Idaho Business Review as an “Accomplished under 40” which is an award distinguishing Idaho business and professional leaders who have achieved success before the age of 40. Amy is a member of the Employment & Labor Law Section of the Idaho State Bar, Idaho Association of Defense Counsel, and the Idaho Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
Amy is passionate about the McCall community and is an active board member of the Antique & Classic Boat Society, Payette Lakes Chapter. Amy is also involved with the University of Idaho Vandal Scholarship Fund and is a former board member. Amy loves the outdoors and can be found hiking with her husband Richard and daughter Clara, boating on Payette Lake, and enjoying the local ski resorts in the winter. Amy is thrilled to join Millemann, Pittenger & Pemberton, return home to be close to family, and raise her daughter in this wonderful community.
